What is skin cancer screening?
Skin cancer checks involve checking your skin visually for moles, birthmarks, or other marks that are unusual in colour, size, shape, or texture. It’s important to have your skin checked regularly by a medical professional so that any anomalies are identified and treated early.
If you’re at high risk for skin cancer or have a family history, you need to have regular skin and mole checks.
