FAQ

What can I expect from my GP?

If this is your first visit, your GP will go through your medical history, current concern and may ask for some tests before deciding on the course of treatment or refer you to a specialist if needed.

Can I just show up at the centre?

We strongly recommend booking an appointment online, or using the HotDoc app or by calling Reception on 03 9753 5677 if you need to see a specific doctor. If you turn up without an appointment, we’ll try our best to fit you in for urgent concerns with the next available doctor. However, depending on the number of patients on the day, you may not be able to see a doctor. We recommend booking an appointment before you come in to avoid disappointment.

What are your fees?

Patients without a Medicare card or concession cards will need to pay full fees. Please see our Consultation Fee Guide.

How can I book my preferred GP?

Book online through our website, using the HotDoc app or call Reception on 03 9753 5677.

What if I need an emergency appointment for my preferred GP?

If you need an urgent medical appointment, we’ll do our best to fit you in to see your preferred doctor.

Do you bulk bill?

Bulk billing is only available for patients under 16 years of age, and patients with a concession or pension card aged 65 years and above. Out-of-pocket costs start from $20.

What if I need to reschedule my appointment?

Please call Reception on 03 9753 5677 as soon as possible so we can release the slot and make it available to another patient. A fee will be charged for failure to attend or cancellation at short notice (less than 2 hours in advance of the appointment).

Do you offer telehealth?

We provide phone and video consultations to our patients. Please inform Reception at the time of booking your appointment.

Should I wear a mask?

Please wear a face mask if you have flu or cold symptoms to protect the other patients and our doctors. Hand sanitising stations are also available for patients.
