If the consultation takes longer than the booked time, additional fees may apply.
Pensioner, Healthcare Card Holder and children 15 years and under will be charged a Concession Fee.
DVA Card Holders are bulk-billed at all times.

For WorkCover and TAC Case, Patient is required to pay the full fee to us and then claim the reimbursement from the Insurance Company /Employer or TAC based on the receipt we issue.

Dr Adriana Trang also provides supportive, evidence-informed care for patients with complex or chronic health needs, including:

• Weight Management
• ADHD Management
• Menopause & Perimenopause
• Invisible Illnesses
  (POTS, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis), Fibromyalgia, Long COVID)
• Trans Affirmative Care
  (Gender-affirming Care, including Hormone Therapy, Mental Health Coordination related to gender identity and transition)

These consultations are designed for sensitive, nuanced care that often extends beyond a standard GP consult. The fee of the Initial Consultaion for these special interest appointments will be $250 for patients without a Concession Card and $240 for Concession Card Holder. Follow up Appointment (10 minutes) will be charged $95 for Non-Concession Card Holder and $85 for Concession Card Holder; Follow Up Appointment (20 minutes) will be charged $165 for Non-Concession Card Holder and $155 for Concession Card Holder.

For Telehealth Consultations

Telehealth consultations – these will be charged at the same rate as face-to-face appointments (see fees above).

Patients are eligible for a Medicare Rebate for telehealth only if they have an established relationship with the medical practitioner performing the service. This is defined by the Australian Government as:

• the GP has provided at least one face-to-face service to the patient in the 12 months preceding the telehealth attendance; or
• the GP is located at a medical practice where the patient has had at least one face-to-face service at that practice in the 12 months preceding the telehealth attendance (including services performed by another doctor located at the practice, or a service performed by another health professional located at the practice, such as a practice nurse or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health worker); or
• is a participant in the Approved Medical Deputising Service program, and the Approved Medical Deputising Service provider employing the medical practitioner has a formal agreement with a medical practice that has provided at least one face-to-face service to the patient in the 12 months preceding the telehealth attendance.
• The established relationship requirement is a rolling requirement applying to every telehealth consultation. For each telehealth consultation, the patient must meet one of the eligibility requirements outline above, unless an eligible exemptions applies.

Procedures

All procedures will incur an out of pocket fee. The cost of procedures varies with the type of procedure and its complexity; Please ensure you enquire about any costs prior to the procedure.

Payment / Rebate

It is practice policy that all accounts are settled in full on the day of your consultation; EFTPOS, Mastercard, Visa and cash accepted.

The practice offers Medicare Easyclaim: for eligible services your Medicare Rebate is paid back to your DEBIT CARD immediately after you have paid your account at the practice.

Missed Appointment Fee

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 2 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the appointment to another patient. A fee of $30 for a standard appointment and $50 for a double appointment will apply for missed appointments or late cancellations.
